2. The pricing listed above includes only time for writing and does not include image selection, resizing, and image insertion into the blog post or blog comment moderation services. Our pricing does not include in-depth content research, content revisions other than one minor revision within two days of publishing or pre-publishing blog review. These specific additional services are available to you at our hourly rate should you need them. Ask us about our image load service which allows our bloggers to add images to your blog at no additional charge once the images are pre-loaded for them.

All of the blog platforms we use are open source, meaning that they are free. But many people simply are not comfortable doing the setup and configuration of these applications or don't have the know-how to create the blog database. We can take the guess work out of setup and help you to get blogging fast!
WordPress Installation $200 Fee
Our preferred application - WordPress needs PHP and
My SQL active on your server. This is our top choice for search engine benefits.
Our price includes WordPress set up, our preferred plug-ins installation, and
installation of a free version compatible template for $200. Please
note your hosting package must include My SQL and PHP. We install all items
on your existing web server. You should plan on an additional time charge
to create links from your website back to your new blog. Links from your
blog to your website are included in our pricing.
"Ready, Set, Go" Blog Writing Inspection $35 Fee
This fee allows us to confirm that your WordPress blog that your webmaster has set up has all the necessary
plug-ins installed and is set up and ready for us to start blogging. If we
see something that would be helpful for you to have or a setting that should
be changed, we will let you know. Installation of plug-ins is extra and requires
FTP access.
Blogmaster Services and Regular WordPress Security Audits
We want to help keep your blog safe from hackers and spammers. With our blogmaster and security audit service, we keep your blog updated and monitor your core WordPress files for unauthorized changes. Although this may not prevent your blog from being hacked, it will allow for quick attention if a problem is found. (Please note: repair of files or cleaning of WordPress is billed as an additional hourly charge if an infection or intrusion is found.)
With our Blogmaster Service, you decide the frequency: once a week, twice a month, or once a month.
These are the actions we perform on your blog:
- Approve or delete any comments.
- Discard spam.
- Update any plug-ins
- Upgrade your WordPress application (if you are using one-click updates).
- Do a MySQL back up.
- Perform an XML blog post export.

Blog Popularity & Link Growth Reporting
Some clients like to keep track of the activity on their blog by monitoring the following important metrics:
- Inbound links to your blog and their growth over time. For some clients this is the main reason we are blogging to build one way inbound links to improve organic search placement.
- Review of blog pageviews compared to website pageviews. To ascertain if more readers are reviewing your content and the importance of your blog to your overall visibility program.
- Top ten popular posts each month on the blog – to assist us in directing our writer about topics that your readers like for more blog posts on that content.
- Review of top keywords. This allows us to keep our blog writer informed on the keywords and keyword phrases that are important to your business as recorded in Google Analytics.
In order to assist you in these very important areas, Google Analytics will need to be installed on your website and blog in advance or our setup. Also, you will need to have installed on your blog the Google Site Map generator plugin for WordPress. We can assist with these items if need be for an additional charge.
As part of our set up protocol, we will implement access to your website files through the Google Webmaster and Bing certification protocol to have access to your inbound link numbers. This is typically done via FTP access to your server and only needs to be done once for us to have on-going access to their numbers. Typical set up is about one hour of our time (some sites will require more time). Anticipate a onetime set up fee of $40 to $80.
Monthly reports on link numbers, blog pageviews, top blog content, and the top ten website keywords takes about one hour and is billed at $80. We email the report and then direct our blog writer of specific actions to take for the upcoming month based on our reported findings. The monthly review and reporting fee is $80. (Time cap 1 hour for report creation. Phone conference consultation/review is an additional charge.)
