Google Friend Connect New Poll Gadget

Google’s Friend Connect has introduced a few new gadgets and here’s one to consider the poll gadget. You can view my poll online on my web content services page. To vote in the poll you have to sign in with a Google, Yahoo, or AOL IM ID. I’ve been testing out the application to see if I like it. So far, I think that the interactivity is very cool.

Google’s Friend Connect is easy to use and implement if you have a bit of knowledge of HTML and how to update your website. Your professional webmaster will have no trouble at all.  I set up a simple and  quick poll on the page referenced in the first paragraph, but you can do a much longer and detailed poll with tons of options. What’s great is that after the user votes, they cannot vote again, and when they revisit the page they see the poll results and not the poll again.

Google’s Friend Connect has also introduced a few other gadgets. Now you can add an event, site/page recommendations, and even an answers gadget. If you haven’t checked out Friend Connect lately, now’s the time to drop in and see what other cool gadgets you can add to your own website to start a conversation with your own website visitors.
