{"id":2926,"date":"2012-08-15T05:31:33","date_gmt":"2012-08-15T09:31:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.mccordweb.com\/weblogs\/?p=2926"},"modified":"2012-08-12T08:32:32","modified_gmt":"2012-08-12T12:32:32","slug":"whats-happened-to-facebook","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mccordweb.com\/weblogs\/2012\/08\/15\/whats-happened-to-facebook\/","title":{"rendered":"What&#8217;s Happened to Facebook?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ask any kid or adult what they think about Facebook and you may hear these comments:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I&#8217;m tired of the game spam.<\/li>\n<li>I am not spending much time on Facebook anymore.<\/li>\n<li>I am investing my time in face to face contact and moving offline.<\/li>\n<li>I think Facebook is in trouble, I just am not interested in the things happening there anymore.<\/li>\n<li>I think Facebook is a fad and has had it&#8217;s run its course.<\/li>\n<li>My newsfeed is boring.<\/li>\n<li>I couldn&#8217;t live without Facebook.<\/li>\n<li>I only use Facebook to logon to sites I want to become a member on as the auto login is easy.<\/li>\n<li>I like using the like button.<\/li>\n<li>I like to poke people, play games, use the apps.<\/li>\n<li>Many of my friends are leaving Facebook to go to Twitter.<\/li>\n<li>I like the games, but I am strongly encouraged to use money to buy things on the games.<\/li>\n<li>I find it complicated to use and don&#8217;t understand how to use it to connect or answer posts on my wall.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These are just a few comments from the people I polled for this post.
