Copywriting Service Frequently Asked Questions

We've tried to answer all of your questions when it comes to web content writing. We want you to understand how we provide our services and the restraints that we put on the use of our content. If you have a question that is not listed here, please contact us so we can help.

Do you ever reuse content?
Questions on our copywriting services? We try to be as transparent as possible when we work with you on writing for the Web.The content that we create for you is never reused verbatim. We may reuse the topic and key points mentioned in a piece but we never copy and paste content created for you into another client's project. We understand Google's duplicate content penalty and work hard to make all of our copywriting works considered unique by Google and other search engines.

Why is it that blog posts shouldn't be migrated to website content? Don't I own the content to use anyway I please?
We do not recommend migrating blog posts into website content. Blog posts are typically considered a derivative work – a review of an article or piece that has been disseminated as industry news. You should have unique content as the norm for your website. If you like the theme of a blog post and want us to create unique website content based on that topic, we can easily do so at our website content creation rates.

What if I want unlimited use rights for the content that you create for me?
We do provide unlimited rights for our featured article and link bait writing services as due to the very nature of this product, we know that these pieces will be widely disseminated on the Web with your name as author. If you desire unlimited use rights for other writing projects, please ask us.

Why do you charge a higher rate for copywriting services for websites you have not designed?
When we design a website as part of the design process we become intimately familiar with the services and products that our client provides and sells. Because we have this knowledge, it is easier and takes less time for us to write the necessary content. When we take on a project to write content for a website that we have no background with, we have to take time to research services and consult with the client. This take additional time and is factored into our pricing.

What is your policy on content revisions?
For Blogs: We will perform one minor revision on any blog post within two days of publishing. After two days any revisions are billed at our hourly rate. If you do not like an entire post, a rework may be done within two days at no charge. If you prefer an entirely new topic, we will bill you for the new one at our regular post rate.

For Website Content: We have factored one revision in our prices for website content. Additional revisions are billed at our hourly rate of $65 per hour.

For Feature Articles: We have factored in one revision in our prices for featured articles. Additional inclusions or revisions are billed at our hourly rate of $65 per hour.

For e-Newsletters: We bill by the hour ($65 per hour) for these services and so revisions simply add to the number of billable hours for you project.

Please note that we utilize only our most experienced writers who we have tested for quality for our free-standing copywriting projects. Your satisfaction is of paramount importance to us. We will work hard to make sure that you are satisfied with any work we do for you when it comes to copywriting.
