Quick Tips and Hints: How to Make E-Mail Member Groups
How do I send out an e-mail to a group with one click of my mouse?
Its easy with address member groups! Address member groups are easy to set up and manage. You can even set up the group so the entries don't clutter up your address book.
When you are ready to send a note out to your new group, just select the group name in the To: section and click send. How great is that!

- Click to open the Address Book.
- Click the New button, and then click New Group.
- The Properties window opens up. Enter your group name in the text box.
- If you are selecting members that are already in your address book, click the Select Member button and click your choice from your existing address book.
- If you are entering new addresses and do not want them in your address book, simply enter the information directly in the text boxes in the Properties window.
- Add as many members as you desire. Click Okay when you are finished.
- To send a note with one click to all on your list, simply click To: on the compose screen, select your group name, and click Send.

Why Can't I Open Certain Attachments in Outlook Express Anymore?
It appears that on one of the recent security patches for Outlook Express, Microsoft disabled some file types that could be opened in Outlook Express. For some of us, this has caused all kinds of headaches!
For example, if you have tried recently to open a database, PowerPoint file or other file sent to you by e-mail and can't, even though you know that the file is attached, we have a work around to help you.
Ask the person sending the file to resend the file with an additional ending. For example, if a client is sending a PowerPoint file name ClientProposal, have them send it with a (.showmethemail) ending; i.e., ClientProposal.ppt.showmethemail. When you save the file to your hard disk, remove the showmethemail ending and voila, your file is intact and ready to use.

Send your potential link partner a personalized e-mail or complete their contact form requesting a link exchange. Let them know why you thought that their site worked well with the information on your site, include your link information. Make sure if their answer is yes, that you reciprocate with the link on your site quickly.
If you invest about one hour a week of your time searching the Internet for potential link partners, you can build a fine link program with in about a month.
