Web Visibility Is More Than Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
The Impact of Personalized Search Results on Your Website's Organic Placement
How
organic placement is determined on search engines has changed significantly
in these past two years. Google states that it now evaluates over 200 different
factors to determine website placement on their search engine including social
media activity. On top of that, no longer can a service firm
optimize a website based on a set of keyword
phrases and expect placement to be the same for every reader. Now, search engine
results are personalized; meaning that what one customer sees is not the same
as what another sees, and can even be different from what you, the website
owner, see online. This makes traditional search engine optimization as it
has been known obsolete.
Personalized search results are impacted by the search history that you yourself make every time you do a search on Google.com, Bing.com, or Yahoo.com. They are impacted by what you search for and what you click in to review. Additionally, personalized search results are now being skewed even further by your social media interaction; such as your activity and friend network on Facebook, Twitter, and other social sites. Add to that the emphasis that Google.com has placed on pushing local business listings, using Google Places, ahead of regular organic search listings and the art of improving search placement has become very complicated.
What Can a Website Owner Do To Improve Organic or Unpaid Search Placement in This New World?
We feel that the first step to improving organic placement is to review current placement and then create a strategy for improvement. Each client's situation and needs are different, but the first step for all clients starts with an assessment. In some cases our assessment will recommend a redesign of your website, introduction or a blog, articles written and syndicated to develop inbound links, website content revisions, or even consideration of pay per click advertising in the short term to drive traffic and leads.
Our Initial Evaluation - $350

The first step is evaluation. This service provides for an initial review of your website placement on Google.com, review of your website files, consideration of the difficulty in moving your site up organically based on your competition, and offers our recommendation with a plan of action based on your budget.
This written summary is an executive overview and does not provide intensive keyword discovery or statistical research, but does evaluate several of your online competitors, review of your Google Analytics website statistics, the number of inbound links that you and your top two or three online competitors show (when available), and our recommendations on actions to take based on the budget you have available. Our time is capped at 3 hours and includes a 30 minute post review consultation to review our recommendations.
Please be aware that we are not a good technology match to work on every website. We are typically not a good match for e-commerce stores, websites that are database driven, or those that have file endings in .aspx. In some cases we will not be able to implement certain specific recommendations back on your website due to our technology skill set.
Our initial evaluation should be considered as a strategy or long term plan that helps you, as the site owner, to evaluate where best to spend money first based on your own unique situation to improve your online visibility.
Working to Improve Your Website's Organic Search Engine Placement
Web visibility improvement is not a quick process, rather, it is a combined set of processes working together to raise your organic placement (or non-paid search results) over time. In some cases improvement comes easily and quickly and in other cases may take more than a year of doing all the "right" things consistently.
It is important to understand that no legitimate company can promise top search engine results overnight or guarantee that a 5-page site can have top Google placement on several general keywords competing globally ever. We understand the web visibility improvement process and work hard to use our expertise to help improve your website's placement. As a legitimate service provider we use our years of experience to develop a program for you that we feel will, over time, generate results and improve your organic search engine placement. When you work with us on web visibility improvement and content optimization, you will get responsive attention to your needs and professional recommendations.

What Kind of Results Can I Expect from Web Visibility Work and Content Optimization?
It
is hard to say exactly what your personal results may be as Google has
over 200 different factors that they use to determine organic placement. Some
factors in your results will be tied to your competition, how many inbound
links your site has, the length of time your site has been on the Web, the
number of pages in your site, how frequently your site is updated, and the
relevancy of your site's content to searches.
We've had measurable success with our process helping many clients, but please know that we cannot help every site with improvement. As part of the initial proposal process, if we feel that we cannot assist you in improving placement due to external market conditions or very strong online competition, we will be honest with you and not take on your project. If we do agree to move into the web visibility improvement process, we will work very hard to improve your results, but we do not guarantee placement results for any client.
We do additionally encourage clients interested in improving their organic search engine placement to consider regular blogging, feature article writing and syndication, and regular press releases as an excellent technique to build quality one way inbound links to their website. We invite you to review our clients' results in a wide variety of business sectors on our Web Visibility Results page.
