Web Writing Service Frequently Asked Questions
We've tried to answer all of your questions when it comes to writing for the
Web. If you have a question that is not listed here, please contact
us so we can help.
Why do you charge an interview fee when you create content for websites that
you are not designing?
When we design a website as part of the design process we become very familiar
with the services and products that our client provides through detailed communication. Because we have this knowledge, it is efficient for
us to write the content for a website during the design process. This
is simply not the case for
web writing only projects. We take pride in what we provide and
so only do so when we feel comfortable with our understanding of your products
and services.
What is your policy on content revisions?
For Blogs: We will perform one minor revision on any blog post within two days of publishing. After two days any revisions are billed at our hourly rate. If you do not like an entire post, a rework may be done within two days at no charge. If you prefer an entirely new topic, we will bill you for the new one at our regular per post rate.
For Website Content: We have factored one revision in our prices for website
content. Additional revisions are billed at $80 per hour.
For Article Writing: We have factored in one revision in our
prices for articles. Additional inclusions or revisions are billed at
our rate of $70 per hour.
For e-Newsletters: We bill by the hour ($70 per hour) for these services
and so revisions simply add to the number of billable hours for your project.
Please note that we utilize only our most experienced writers who we have tested
for quality for our writing projects. Your satisfaction is of paramount importance
to us. We work hard to make sure that you are satisfied with any written work we
do.
Do you ever reuse content?
The content that we create for your website is unique. We may reuse a topic but we never reuse or mildly reword content to use on a different project. For web design writing, we routinely run our content through Copyscape to check for any Internet duplication.
What if I don't like a blog post?
Make sure to let us know within two days of publishing and we will re-work the blog post at no charge. It is very important that you help us to help our writer understand what you like by reading the blog posts we write in the first two weeks after we start. We want your feedback so we can help our writer to provide the content that you want for your blog. We've found that it typically takes two weeks for our writer to get settled in on a new blog writing project and so we welcome your advice, recommendation or redirection. We will work very hard to please you and provide blog posts that fit your needs.
